The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Anil Kaul, Vice-Chancellor of Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (MRV), and Dr. Kranthi Reddy, Director of Research, MRV.

 

The program included an expert talk by Mr. Abhishek Kumar Singh, Regional General Manager, Forest Development Corporation & Ex-Director, Department of Pharmaceuticals, on Entrepreneurship and Start-up Strategies in Pharmaceuticals.

 

The guest speakers for the session were:

• Dr. Neema Kumari, Assistant Professor, Research, MRV, who spoke on “From Traditional Knowledge to Lifesaving Medicine: The Scientific Journey of Tu Youyou.”

• Dr. Ellojitha Priyadarshini Rout, Scientist-III & Grant Management Officer, Director of Research, MRV, who delivered a talk on “Breaking Barriers: Journey of Women in STEM.”

 

All the guest speakers were felicitated by Dr. H. Ramana, Dean & Professor (Convenor, MRV), along with other MRV dignitaries.

 

The event also included an interactive session where students actively engaged with the speakers and clarified their queries regarding pharmaceutical entrepreneurship and start-up opportunities.

 

The program successfully inspired participants about innovation, the contributions of Indian women in science, and emerging entrepreneurial opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
