Education Excellence Award

A mock fire drill was conducted at Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MRIPS) to ensure preparedness in case of a fire emergency. The drill was part of the Quality Assurance initiative by QCI.
 
Highlights of the Drill:
  •  Fire Alert & Siren: The drill started with a fire alert siren, signaling students and staff to evacuate the premises.
  • Evacuation: Students and staff safely evacuated the building following emergency exit routes.
  • Fire Extinguisher Demonstration: Firemen demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers and water hydrants.
  • Safety Measures: Dean Dr. H. Ramana briefed on essential safety measures and emergency protocols.
 
Coordination & Support:
  •  Dr. Laxmi Madhuri, Mrs. Revathi, and Mr. V. Shukla coordinated the drill along with firemen.
  • Firemen provided hands-on training on using fire safety equipment.
  • Student coordinators: Nishanth, Deeksha and Sai Kiran Volunteeredthe drill along with the faculty coordinators
 
Objective:
  • The drill aimed to prepare students and staff for emergency situations, ensuring safety and swift response in case of a real fire incident.
 
Outcome:
  • The mock drill was successful in familiarizing participants with evacuation procedures and fire safety equipment usage. Feedback was taken for further improvement.
