Basic Life Support (BLS) Hands-on Training for Pharmacy Students
As part of the Nationwide CPR Awareness Week (13th–17th October 2025) initiated by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MRIPS), under Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, Hyderabad, successfully conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Hands-on Training Program for Pharm D students at the Skill Lab, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women (MRMCW), Suraram, from 13th to 15th October 2025.
The sessions were conducted by Ms. Kanchan Asane, Clinical Simulation Instructor, MRMCW, and covered essential life-saving topics including Adult and Infant BLS, AED operation, and choking management. The program included both theory and practical components, helping students build confidence and competence in emergency response skills.
The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. H. Ramana (Professor & Dean, MRIPS) and Dr. Ravindra Babu (Organising Secretary) with coordination by Mrs. Sarika and Dr. K. Sechana.
