Report on Participation in the
74th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC)

Participants: Faculty Members and Students of MRIPS-MRV
 
The faculty members and students of MRIPS attended the 74th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) held at Bengaluru from 19th to 21st December. The event provided an excellent academic and professional platform for interaction with researchers, academicians, and industry experts from across the country.
 
 Day 1 – Inaugural Session (19th December)
The first day of the congress commenced with a grand inaugural ceremony, marking the formal opening of the 74th IPC. Eminent dignitaries, scientists, and academic leaders addressed the gathering, highlighting recent advancements and future directions in pharmaceutical sciences.
 
 Day 2 – Poster and Oral Presentations (20th December) 
The second day was dedicated to poster and oral presentation sessions.
 
Ms. D. Sushma Reddy, Associate Professor, presented her research paper at the congress.
 
T.Himaja, R.Ganesh, V.Rimsha from Pharm.D 5th years are also presented with their posters and showcasing their research work at the 74th IPC, several students from MRIPS actively participated.
 
These sessions provided valuable exposure to current research trends and encouraged academic discussions.
 
 Day 3 – Valedictory Ceremony (21st December)
The congress concluded with a valedictory ceremony, summarizing the outcomes of the event and emphasizing the importance of continued research and collaboration in the pharmaceutical field.
 
 MRIPS-MRV Exhibition Stall :
MRIPS actively participated in the exhibition by setting up a stall at the congress (Stall No. P-15).
 
Faculty members and students explained the academic activities, research initiatives, and institutional strengths of MRIPS to the delegates.
 
Flyers were distributed to visitors to create awareness about the institution.
 
This activity was successfully conducted with the encouragement and support of Dean Dr. H. Ramana and Dr. S.Ravindra Babu.
 
MRV-MRIPS are the Academic Partners for the IPC.
 
74th IPC was productive for the MRGI Pharmacy colleges, as they collaborated with reputed pharmaceutical companies, for which MOU shall be signed gradually.
 
 Overall Outcome
The participation in the 74th IPC was highly beneficial. Faculty members and students gained valuable knowledge, interacted with resource persons and experts, and collected useful information relevant to ongoing and future research activities. The event significantly contributed to academic enrichment and professional development
