MRIPS Launches QS World Ranking Quality Evaluation Educational Model – The Comprehensive Periodic Assessment Consortium (C-PAC)

In a landmark stride toward global academic excellence, Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MRIPS) launched its QS World Ranking Quality Evaluation Educational Model, officially known as the Comprehensive Periodic Assessment Consortium (C-PAC), during the Orientation Day program held yesterday on campus.
The C-PAC Framework, developed under the guidance of Dr. H. Ramana and authored by Mr. Vijay O’Bannon, is a QS-benchmarked institutional model that translates the global QS methodology into a practical, evidence-based system of institutional evaluation. It converts the five QS pillars — Teaching Excellence, Research Impact, Employability, Internationalization, and Sustainability — into measurable indicators assessed through MRIPS’s continuous evaluation cycle. Every course, research activity, and developmental initiative is now mapped, audited, and improved through this unified framework.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. H. Ramana, Guide of C-PAC, stated, “We’ve connected QS pillars to classroom reality — every course, every semester, measurable.” He emphasized that MRIPS has successfully embedded global quality benchmarks into its academic ecosystem.
Mr. Vijay O’Bannon, author of the C-PAC institutional model, elaborated, “We transformed global frameworks into practical systems — where quality is visible, measurable, and improvable every day.” He described C-PAC as the living expression of QS principles within MRIPS, ensuring that excellence is sustained through continuous improvement.
Highlighting the developmental spirit, Dr. B. Revathi remarked, “This model empowers every student and faculty member to own their growth through transparent evaluation and mentorship.” She underlined that C-PAC fosters reflection, accountability, and collaborative academic progress.
From a research and innovation perspective, Dr. S. Ravindra Babu observed, “Our vision is to make research, teaching, and employability a seamless cycle of excellence within MRIPS.” He emphasized that C-PAC enables measurable research outcomes, innovation tracking, and alignment with global academic standards.
